A Phlebotomist is a person who practices phlebotomy. ... Experience, skill, and communication are needed in order to be a great phlebotomist.
The first and most important necessity for being a great phlebotomist is having a lot of experience. A person who has little experience about performing a certain job will tend to be apprehensive because the fear or anxiety of performing that job is great and the person lacks the confidence they will need. When I first started my job as a phlebotomist, I was scared and nervous.
