In the article Visual Pleasure and Narrative Cinema by Laura Mulvey, she discusses the idea that movies have and are "made for men". Mulvey discusses the idea of scopophilia which is the "primordial wish for pleasurable looking" (129) found in cinema which uses women to be pieces viewed by men. ... (130) I believe that this is true in almost all movies as most women in films were and are beautiful with bodies comparing to masterpieces of art. ... She is no longer the gcheaph thrill but a more presentable woman who is sought after by men.
