Cultural Diversity and Administrative Anomaly The definition of culture depends on how you approach towards such concept and more importantly how you define yourself and the other. If you examine the history of the Anatolia or if you take a trip or even if you just look around in Anatolia, you may easily notice the most obvious feature of the Anatolian society; diversity. Even though the land we all have grown up has such a unique feature, because of various reasons such as subjective misinterpreted educational orientation, predujiced and stereotyped minds or ignorance of international law and history; unfortunately nowadays we are at the peak of declining our own cultural heritage. Hovewer, we are proud of declaring such deficiency to the international community. This is what they call paradox. Worst of all is we are not aware of our deficiencies at all. This has been appearing for a very long while in the behaviours of senior officers, in the speeches of even cabinet members. One of the latest was the ironic statement of the Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan, “Open the Mosque of Voyvoda in Athens in reply to the Seminary of Heybeli Island.” These kinds of statements can only be treated by approaching them from their own blind point of view. Specifically we could formulate two main reasons for the above-mentioned statement and the logic lying behind.
