Hi, my name is Frank. In William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar, Brutus and Cassius are contrasting characters. This essay will compare and contrast the characteristics of these two protagonists, also presenting an opinion on which of these two characters is most suitable to lead the assassination plot and the civil war which follows Julius Caesar’s assassination, with the opinion being that Brutus is more suitable. The reasons for this shall be demonstrated in eight separate sections. The first two sections will analyze the characteristics and traits of both Brutus and Cassius, as it is necessary to understand them. The other six sections shall be good. Marcus Brutus, a servant and close friend to Caesar, has a strong relationship with Caesar but a stronger relationship with Rome and its people.
