Malcolm X, Ballot or Bullet Malcolm Little, Born in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1925 was the son of a preacher, who followed the word of Marcus Garvey. A murder conspiracy troubled his childhood, when his father was found dead, his head caved in and practically dismembered from the body. It was claimed to have been suicide but was thought to have been members of th eKu Klux Klan, either way, the death benefits were denied to the family as members started drifting away from one another. At the age of fourteen, Malcolm dropped out of school, and began his days as a white-eyed American citizen. Ateempting to fit in, he dressed himself in zoot suits, and straightenend his hair. His lack of respect got him caught up in a life of crime and he was sent to prison at the age of 21. It was here that he was enlighted by the teachings of Elijah Muhammad, the leader of the Lost-Found Nation of Islam, AKA the Black Muslims.
