Personally, I have experienced a great deal of pain in both the lower and mid sections of my back. The types of pain however were very different from each other. When I was experiencing lower back pain, it was a constant dull ache. This type of pain is considered to be Nociceptive, which is typically caused by an injury or disease outside the nervous system such as arthritis.
