Leadership is shown through actions and reactions I can not show my leadership capabilities in the workplace by referencing all the classes that I have taken to become a good leader in the workplace. ...
The next aspect of effective leadership is the ability to make decisions to change, and not always stick to the status quo. ...
My most influential example of leadership and politics was in a situation that I had in my last workplace I worked in the IT department for 21st Century Insurance Company, while working in this department I was on a Six month contract for a migration of two thousand computers for the company. ...
The second Leadership Politic I had the pleasure of observing was how “The new guy” is brought in or out of the Desktop department. ...
My worst experience with political leadership and the want for more leadership was with my Co-worker in the basement Alen, in the six months that I worked there I got the most deceiving treatment from him all because he was equal with me and I was a threat to his job since I did it better. ... The leadership that is involved in the technical department at 21st Century has little to do with job title, work ethic, skills, or even knowledge of the job, the main thing to get ahead or hired in this work place is your ability to talk to become the worker that your boss’s boss wants you to be I did everything in my power to be the best worker the fact is that I was a temporary grunt worker whom was never intended to stay on board with the IT department. ...
Out of everything at the Reagan Museum I was most enthusiastic to see the oval office, The oval office is nothing that I have seen before nor have I ever wondered what it was like and just being in there gave me the feeling of power and leadership that comes with being at the center desk of this oval office, it made me wonder why or what it was that made Reagan think of putting this in his museum this part of the tour was what almost the most appreciated by me of the whole tour. ...

Leadership in business is similar to leadership in most other human activities. From going to clubs to the grade-school playground, leadership is something that is perceived by another person who most likely knows little about you so in order to make them feel like you are a leader is in your attitude, the way I present myself in business is an entirely different from the way I present myself with my friends but each “presentation” is a commanding one that demands leadership. In business and personal life Leadership is assumed if I take charge of a project at work I could delegate all of the work to the people who know how to do the job, I could be completely ignorant to the job tasks but as long as I know who can do it all I need to do is send the work around to the right departments until the project is done, then once the project is done I take recognition for taking the leadership responsibility and getting the job done even though I did nothing to actually do anything but organize and take the position of middle man to make sure that the project got finished.
