An input device is something which means inserting data into the computer, these are usually keyboards or a mouse. Processing is when you give the computer a command to do with the input. You control what you want to do with it. The date which is produced at the end of the stage, the output, will only be as good as the instructions given in the program. And the term GIGI (garbage in, garbage out) means that if you insert garbage into a computer, garbage is what will come out. An output device is giving out the processed date as information in a form is useful to the user. Output devices are usually printers or a visual display unit (monitor). (a) Data is useless figures.
