Tuesday, after school, I decided to conduct this experiment. I went home and knocked on the door. No one came to the door but I continued to knock. Finally, my mom answered the door. When she opened the door I said “Hello Joann, mind if come in?” She gave me the “what are you doing?” face and said she didn’t care and why would she care. I went inside, put my bag in and asked her if I could have a little something to eat. She told me it was fine and to get it myself because she wasn’t going to. After having a little snack, I asked her if I could go to the bathroom. She said she didn’t care and once again gave me a peculiar look. Then, I asked her if I could watch some television. She seemed rather annoyed when she answered me, “I don’t care what you do.” I tried really hard not to laugh. My sister came home and I got up from the couch to great her, which was really unusual because we are constantly in battle.
