Numerous events of foreshadowing are shown throughout the story of MacBeth and each one can predict what should be joyous occasions. ... ” Ross and Angus come to MacBeth to tell him the king has named him the Thane of Cawdor. MacBeth does not comprehend at first asking why this has happened because he knows the thane is alive.
