Audience: Address your memo to Mr. Butler. In the memo include the following information. 1. A title page including the name of the case and the name of all members in your group. 2. An introduction, summarizing the purpose of the memo and the main results. 3. The main body of the memo should focus on the alternatives available to Mr. Butler. Please identify and discuss the advantages and drawbacks of each potential solution to his financing problem. 5. A conclusion, containing a summary and your main recommendation. Main Purpose: To provide a comprehensive example of long-term financial planning and working capital management. As in the Morley case, each student should attempt the financial analysis, value driver, and pro forma exercises on their own. This is the only way to ensure that you can do all the necessary computations. Use the group merely to resolve differences and sort out specific problems. If you do not do this, you will have trouble in the exam when you have to work on your own.
