Secondly, the characters in ‘Macbeth’ are very interesting. The main two, which I can think of, are Macbeth and Lady Macbeth these two played major roles in the play and showed many different emotions. Macbeth was a man who was loyal to his king and was feared by many, his soldiers looked up to him as a God and listened to his every order. ... Soon after a soldier approaches Macbeth and is told that he is the new thane of Cawdor as the other one was a tyrant who betrayed his country and would be executed. Macbeth’s emotions take over and he believes that as the second prophecy has come true that maybe the third will. The third prophecy requires Macbeth to do it himself and unless he does it he won’t become king of Scotland. Lady Macbeth and Macbeth organise to kill the king, but during this Macbeth tries to fight what he wants as he knows that it’s the wrong thing to do. ... ’ Macbeth can’t hold back what he wants and walks into King Duncan’s room whilst he sleeps and savagely stabs him.
