Should bio-pharmaceutical production be banned? So this paper is supposed to address the biopharmaceutical issue. Upon reading this wonderfully written paper, you realize I don’t know what my stance on this issue really is. This topic, after some research, is a very large/tricky topic to discuss. There’s cloning(animal, human, and plant), pharming, and organic farming that seem to be the main points of discussion. Bio technology includes techniques of using genetic material of living things to make or modify products in order to provide humans with a beneficial use. It covers any technique that uses living organisms to make or modify products, to improve plants or animals or to develop micro-organisms for specific uses. According to www.wmrc.com “it involves applying molecular and cellular biology, plants, animal and human genetics, and immunology to create new products.” The huge topic that surfaces every once in a while is the topic of cloning.
