The Hot Spot It's a small boring town. There's not much to do in little Brown City, Michigan. About 2,000 people live here. The high school has around 500 kids. All the buisnesses are mostly located along Main Street. The town is 3/4 of a mile long and does not have a single stop light. There is absolutely nothing fun to do in this town if your a teenager. There are no movie theaters, no fast food restuarants, no shopping centers, there is nothing cool at all. The closest thing to fun we have is a bowling alley. So what do we do? Well, if we don't have enough money to get out of here and do something and there isn't a party, the cool place to be is J&J parking lot. It's just a dusty dirt parking lot between a gas station and J&J party store. It's full of pot holes and it isn't level, so when it rains there are huge mud puddles in it all over. There are a few other paved parking lots around town that have spots that nobody parks in that we could hang out in, but we hang out in the worst one in town. When we go up town and cruise we all turn around in the parking lot to head back east down Main Street. If people want to talk they just pull into the parking lot, far enough so they don't block other kids from turning around, and talk. Then other kids pull up wanting to talk to one of the two cars or both and before you know it the parking lot is full of kids standing around the cars talking and hanging out.
