“The Necklace”
Have you ever borrowed something very valuable from a friend and lost it? ... She has to have a necklace to finish the outfit off. ... What she doesn’t’ realize is that one of these days something is going to happen, with the necklace she had to have, that’ll cause her to appreciate what she has and change her negative way of thinking. ... That is until she loses the necklace. ... Forestier necklace’.” After all hope is given up in finding the necklace, they come to a different solution. Instead of confronting her friend, she and her husband try to find a necklace which looks almost the same and replace it. ... Forestier necklace, for a very expensive price, they try for ten years to pay off all the money they loaned to get it and give it to the owner. ... “What would have happened if she had not lost that necklace? ... She may have a different perspective but the story hasn’t ended yet, she, in the end, realizes that if she would have confronted her friend first, she would have realized that the necklace was fake and she wouldn’t have wasted ten years of her life.
