Jessica Jackson September 3, 2003 English period six Letter to Mrs. Thompson Dear Mrs. Thompson, My name is Jessic a Parri Jackson (a.k.a. Gelatinous Jessica), and I am in your sixth Period class. I must say that I am very excited about this year in English. I have always enjoyed English, because it isn’t so cut and dry. English is not like math were there is only one answer, English allows you to think and create your own ideas and solve your own literary of philosophical problems. To have true intellect, I believe someone has to have a great deal of reading and analyzing under their belt, and so this class is an essential practice on the road to “true intelligence”. I love to be adventurous, in any way possible. I love to try new things, and take chances in order to learn or experience something new and usually exciting. I enjoy the outdoors very much and I believe that holds numerous opportunities to be adventurous, look into paths that haven’t been made, hiking up hills to see what you can see from the top. Hiking also gives one time to think, which is also one of my favorite things to do, just being able to analyze different situations and actions in life and ponder every strange and practical thing that comes to mind … You ask about my siblings, which I a have two of.
