This specific event began when Pedro Rossello, aiming to hurt Pesquera, blamed him publicly for the acts of corruption done by Sulsona and set him as responsible for being the president of the Directores de Junta de Puertos. Today, since we are getting closer to the elections, Pesquera is looking back and seeing in which way he can catch Rossello; this seemed to be the perfect way to create a scandal. Pesquera gave a 24 hour time limit to Rossello to apologize to him publicly of relating him to the corruption of the Autoridad de los Puertos; on the contrary, he would begin to attack Rossello. As a great politician, Pesquera did this knowing that Rossello was not going to apologize. ... Although all the events mentioned by Pesquera are possibly true, this was the perfect moment and the perfect excuse to begin his campaign attack. ... As expected, Rossello did not apologize to Pesquera for it would harm his reputation; Instead, he underestimated all that Pesquera knew and could reveal.
