Chabot-Las Positas Community College District offers an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to employees through CONCERN:EAP. The EAP, which was introduced April 1, 1996, provides free, confidential, short-term counseling services to Chabot-Las Positas Community College District's employees, their dependents and domestic partners. What is an EAP? An Employee Assistance Program is a confidential, short-term counseling service for employees and family members. Experienced professional counselors are available to assist in dealing with personal problems through short-term counseling and referral. Counselors can help you clarify problems, develop a plan of action, and take positive steps toward the outcome you desire. In many cases, issues can be resolved completely at CONCERN. How Do I Contact CONCERN:EAP? CONCERN counselors are located throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. All of Chabot-Las Positas Community College District’s employees, their dependents and domestic partners are eligible to use the CONCERN program. Do I Need to Enroll? Coverage is automatic; you do not need to enroll. When Does Coverage Begin? Coverage begins on your first day of employment with Chabot-Las Positas Community College District as an eligible employee.
