Aimee was born in the small town of Salford, Ontario, Canada, on October 9,1890, a gift of joy to her mother Minnie, that still called Aimee "her baby" when Aimee was thirty-six. Being christened Amy Elizabeth Kennedy no one ever knew why she changed her name to Aimee . ...

     As she was growing up Aimee stayed very close to church activities and was never ashamed of it, even after school mates made fun of her she simply taught them her church song "Army" and the problem was solved. ...
