At a young age, surrounded by pain and discomfort, I noticed my world falling apart around me. Change had never occurred to me as young and nonchalant as I was. I thought things were never supposed to change; that is why change never had a set place in my mind. The thought of change became more apparent to me when my younger brother and I realized a new family was forming before our very eyes. MY mom had found a new boyfriend and they had both decided that they wanted to get married. Later that year, my mom and her boyfriend actually were married.
