Schindler’s List & Life is Beautiful “Life is Beautiful” was directed by Robert Benigni and was very interesting. The story was about a man named Guido that had started a family in a free style environment. It was hatred toward the Jews and that caused the Holocaust. Guido protects his son from learning a terrible truth that begins unfolding before they eyes. Guido and his family, which includes his wife, son and uncle, are taken from their home and taken to a concentration camp. The entire time they are at the camp Guido keep trying to lie to his son by telling him that all of this is a game. He does this so his son will not have any idea what is going on and to keep him out of danger.
