I shall compare “Typical Tuesday” a play written by myself and other classmates with the documentary 911 and will compare one specific office scene with a scene from the office in the series on channel 4 ‘Will and Grace’. This practical work was an improvisation and was based on the theme of terrorism. We have been working on it from about September until December when we shall perform it for our exams. The main theme is of terrorism and how it affects the normal people in America. We have included an office scene and a family scene to illustrate how September 11th was an ordinary day. My contribution to the play was as a member of the family and as an office worker. I had to be an older sister and act like a typical teenager in the family scenes. In the office scene I was a young woman who wasn’t the nicest of people. To gather information I looked on the Internet and gathered a few old newspapers with information about September 11th in them. I also watched the 911 Documentary. The exact day our piece is set on is September 11th the day that the twin towers were subject to terrorist attacks.
