     In the novel Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte, the main character, Jane, passes through many stages before reaching adulthood. As a child, Jane was slightly mischievous and ill tempered, yet passionate. ... When Jane was sent to Lowood School she achieved an education and she matured tremendously. Although her appearance was short, Miss Temple had a significant presence to the development of Jane’s character.
