Now the huge controversy over FDR as president had expanded. ... This burgeoning big business angered many small businesses, as they were left in the dust of the country’s economic revival during the war.
Another huge factor in the effect of World War II on the home front was the rise in women’s power, because the war gave women a chance to work in factories and in other non-domestic work, due to the fact that all the men were at war.
