The Feminist theory is based on the ideas that men and women are equal. This theory states that men and women fall into positions based on societal views of their gender roles. In our society, feminists theorize that the only reason women are subordinate to men is because of the unequal distribution of rights given to men by our culture. This theory holds stakes in both macro and micro structures. Feminists argue that patterns of gender bias currently in place should change in order to benefit all members of society. Liberal feminists theorize that forcing equal instruction from childhood and into adulthood for each of the sexes is the best way to achieve gender equality. Radical feminists believe that all icons representing differences in modern sexuality must be erased. This is including reproduction, sexual objectification, and even physical domination.
