Organisational Behaviour is a word used to cram in all the ideas within an organisation related to “the impact that individuals, groups and structure have on behaviour within organisations (Lecture Notes 1 + 2 2003). Organisational behaviour looks at many different factors involving knowledge, skills, motives, traits, values, diversity, stereotypes conflict, motivation and a whole lot of other characteristics. ... This can be good initially but job performance generally goes back down to the level it was after time“Job performance is the product of an interaction between individual competencies, job demands and organisational context”. ...
After now providing an overview of the topics of organisational behaviour and the problems faced with it I can begin to offer advice on how to manage within an organisation. ... telling a worker that “their idea is also a good one” gives them a boost whilst still keeping the other employees at the same level rather than being pushed down by saying things like “now why didn’t you think of that” to other workers
Organisational behaviour has to be studied, as it is the backbone to organisations and their success.
