Scientific Name – Fratercula Artica Kingdom-Anamalia Phylum-Chordata Class-Aves. Habitat A habitat is the surroundings of a certain organism’s territory, basically its location. The Atlantic Puffin lives in the Northern Atlantic area. There isn’t much to say about their habitat. During the winter they’re usually at sea, but for the majority of every year they are at sea. When it’s time for them to hatch an egg, they end up going to rocky coasts or islands and burrow underground. Community A community is an organism’s habitat but along with the other organisms that live in that environment. Atlantic puffins are usually out at sea, so there’s fish that they catch to eat.
