Lady Macbeth calculates a scheme to murder the current king. She dictates to Macbeth the role he will play in this slaughter, as sternly as Hitler would to his soldiers. Take note that Lady Macbeth’s actions are based entirely upon what the witches said to Macbeth, nothing has been planned on certainties. ... While the witches are revealing Macbeths prophecies, they fail to recognize Banquo until he asks them what is in store for himself.
