The question in every Bostinian’s mind now a day is what’s going to happen to Fenway Park? Is Fenway Park going to be upgraded to a more modern facility? ...
In the event of a new stadium, The Boston Red Sox proposed the idea of a new stadium was said to be built on May 15, 2002. ... Therefore, the money put in to the building will be gained back after a couple of years with all the new revenue that is awaiting a new Boston Red Sox stadium. In an interview that Dave Campball did for ESPN he stated, "Yes Fenway should be replaced”, because in todays economy that they must have a stadium that will make the team a lot of revenue so that they dont have to always rely on the ticket sales. ... “It looks like its time to move into the twenty-first century”, Peter Gammons says in response to the Fenway being re-built.
That Fenway is a handymans special built on a landfill. ... Places like Wrigley Yankee Stadium and Fenway are not just ballparks. They are pieces of history, so then should we consider tearing down the White House? In an interview with ESPN Jayson Stark said "I have seen the way players react after they enter Fenway Park for the first time, they go knock on the monster, climb inside the score board, wander up to sit in the Ted Williams seat in the bleachers, think about Babe Ruth and Tye Cobb dressing in the same clubhouse they now occupy.
