As a director how would you use Stanislavski s ideas on given circumstances Imagination and concentration

As a director Stanislavski’s method would be useful for me to rehearse with my actors as it was written to focus actors and then make them better performers. Stanislavski believed that using rehearsal techniques such as given circumstances, imagination and concentration would make his performers act better on the stage and as a director I to believe that these techniques would help we to portray more realistic characters on the stage. As a director I would first ask my actors to undergo the development process that given circumstances demands of them. ... If the actress playing Yerma had a child, as a director, I would ask her to imagine what life would be like without her child or ask them how it felt if they knew that they couldn’t have children. ... As a director I would be training my actor to become the character they are playing and therefore enhance the performance for the audience. By using given circumstances as a rehearsal exercise it will allow the actor to become more aware of the story of the play, the facts events and place that all the actions take place in, conditions of life at the time the play is set in, the actors and directors interpretation of the play and finally the lighting and sound effects that are present on stage.
