Oedipus and Inevitable Tragedy

As we all know, SophoclesĄŻ Oedipus is a greek tragedy. What is a greek tragedy you say? ... Many could argue that tragedy is avoidable, or that tragedy is in fact inevitable. ... Having too much pride was OedipusĄŻ tragic flaw. His downfall was definately not inevitable.
