The Allies’ industrial domination proved to be crucial in the winning of the war because World War II was a total war. ... The Allies had the upper hand in many ways. ... It was not long before the Allies were outproducing the Axis countries in practically every economic aspect of the war.
Another important reason for the Allied success in World War II was because of the great amount of technology they acquired. ... This led to the United States building the most modern army and air force in the world.
