An Elegy to George Washington
Good ol George was a man who we could trust
He was a great guy and one who was just
Not the greatest general but still cool
Eventually he would come to rule
He crossed the Delaware to kill some mercs
Fortunately for them they were drunken jerks
Then one day at Monmouth Georgie got pissed
He flipped out and gave General Lee his fist
But we all know how he cut that Cherry Tree
He couldnt lie even then, I guarantee
My Georgie man could even stand the French
Despite their thick accent and horrible stench
The guy even made Cornwallis retreat
Just to come back to suffer a great defeat
George lived a long healthy life
He ended up as our first great leader
And as for our country, the dude freed er
This is just filler to make sure that this is 250 words long.
