Ban on Human Cloning in Canada
For the past ten years, Canada’s legislation has been debating over the subject of human cloning. Canada has remained the only highly-developed country that does not have a ban on human cloning and restrictions for fertility treatments and research procedures. On the 28th of October 2003, the MPs gave a final approval for a bill banning human cloning in Canada. ... The bill bans human cloning and even bans surrogacy for-profit, as well as payments for eggs, sperm, and embryos. ...
The issue of human cloning is raged a debate for ten years in Canada and for the government to pass a bill opposed to human cloning and surrogacy for-profit is the right thing to do. Human cloning is wrong in the eyes of most Canadians when a survey proved that Canadians were overwhelmingly opposed to human cloning.
