Ethics Awareness Inventory Analysis When I took Awareness Inventory Analysis my result stated that I fall into the category of “Obligation” surprising enough it come very close to be the truth. I believe that we have moral obligations and that people should be allowed to make their own decision within limits. Obligation is doing a good deed because it is the right thing to do not because you expect anything backs in-turn. I think that my ethics awareness for obligation partly comes from the twenty years in the Army. I have always had standards that you are expected to uphold and individual as well as the standards that you must maintain as a group. I have set standard not only for myself but for though that have worked for me. You have a duty when you become part of the Army other peoples lives may depend on you and they need to know that you have the standard that need to be met by all. The obligation ethic is concerned with the duty and responsibly also the individual have the right to make their own choices but they are accepted to be responsible for their decisions. These standards are based on what is right and wrong. This is different Obligation and other Ethics style differently has an impact on what and how situation are handled. Obligation is bases on moral duty to what is perceived to be right and little compromise when ethical values are be violated.
