On September 11th, 2001, I was still in grade six at Greenfield Park International School. I remember everything clearly, as if it had happened yesterday, rather than two years ago. I was, as usual, sleepy in the first class of the morning. My French teacher came bustling into the room and immediately told us what had happened. This suddenly brought me wide awake. I had gone to the world trade center once quite recently, and I had still remembered how it looked like. I also recalled what the guide had informed us about on the twin towers. These towering buildings brought most of the nations together through generations of hard work, and in only a few moments it had been destroyed. Right when the classes began, the intercom told me and my classmates what we had already known.
