Nature vs. nurture is in the eye of the beholder. ... This debate has been going on for centuries and scientists lean more towards the nature theory because it is easily explained by facts such as smoking is a hereditary gene and if you are a smoker chances are your parents were to. Conservatives believe in nature because it is facts while liberals believe in nurture and if you don’t like the way society made you it is better to remake society. ... Someone in favor of nurture would argue that it has everything to do with how the child grew up while someone in favor of nature would argue that it is fact that the brain of a gay man is different than the brain of a straight man.
