Our company doesn’t usually experience any change unless we are forced into it. ...
When we do have to endure a change, most people can adapt quickly. For example, when a customer requires us to modify the way we are doing things, there is lots of complaining but we jump into action and make the change. Most people’s first reaction to change is very negative. But with a short period of time and few conversations, everyone realizes the change is necessary even if they don’t approve of it. Then we begin discussing the methods of implementing the change. The majority of the time, we discover some positive outcomes of the change during this stage.
