Raven’s Rules There are many situations that get peoples attention. These moments are special in every sense of the word. However, not all instances of human triumph are measured by personal experiences of glory. Sometimes others accomplishments touch our lives so incredibly that we change who we are and what we look like, or even think to fit an image that emulates theirs. Lessons learned trickle down through the annals of time. These lessons can be learned from a number of ways, but one thing remains consistent through out. They are exaggerated greatly with each re-telling. This is what you can expect here. My nose began bleeding as I sat there in what was the worst seat in the Cox Arena in San Diego, Ca. “Dude, you said your dad got us the best seats in the place?” I yelled at my friend, who at this point was holding his nose to stop the bleeding, and holding a coffee cup to keep from freezing to death from the violent A/C that was pouring in from the rafters, which were only a few feet away from our heads. There was tension in the air, as “Mean Gene” Okerland stepped into the crowd’s view and announced that we were going live on pay-per-view in a matter of seconds. He finally got my nose to stop bleeding; stuffing a handful of toilet paper up there just to make sure no re-occurrences happened, and the event began.
