The things we do to sell our shoes Manufacturing companies use ads to sell their products. Everyone knows this. However, a company cannot just show a picture of their product and expect people to buy it. A person will not buy a shoe if they do not know anything about it and have nothing but a picture of the shoe. The buyer may have many questions about the shoe such as what activities the shoe can be used for, why he would buy that particular shoe and not one from a different company or perhaps if the shoe is really for a male or female. The lack of answers to these questions will turn off the buyer from the product and the shoe will never sell. To answer the questions of the buyers, companies must connect with the lives of the buyers through the ads. The companies establish a common bond between the product and the audience that they are trying to target to purchase their product. For example, a shoe company targets what kind of people would most likely wear the shoe. They use that information to create the ads.
