High Jump
Stretching
Stretching is very important in the high jump because if not warmed up, injury could occur often. The drill shown in picture number one is called “High Jump Skipping” To do this you have to lift up the thigh into the air. ... To do this drill properly you must extend the thigh high enough that the foot in which you are rising up, is higher than the other knee. This drill is designed to help the knees and so that you can jump higher. The drill shown in picture number two is called “High Knee Skipping” To do this you must execute the drill just like drill one except in this drill you have to extend you whole feet all the way.
