“Actions of a Few” “Do we need to send you some money, we didn’t know if you needed money for bail,” my grandpa Calvin jokingly asked. Those were the first words I heard from anyone on Sunday morning and also the first time I heard about the riot, but it would not be the last. I got three more calls that day asking if I needed some money for bail. Now I may have not been at the riot, but I am a student at Minnesota State University, Mankato and do have an opinion about the riot. Actions of a few can cause consequences for many, but what is the actual cause of the riot. After hearing those calls I began to think about what actually happened. That night I turned on the channel eleven news. Mankato had made the top news story. They blamed the cause of the riot on the loss of the football game, that Mankato had lost earlier in the day.
