1. A close relationship is a bond that two people share. There are many different factors in a close relationship. These factors include commitment, trust, love, respect, and the events that the people share with each other. All these factors determine how close the relationship is or will become. The relationship cannot be one-sided. The people in the relationship should have the same feelings for each other; otherwise they will find that the relationship is not as close as they thought. Currently I have only a few people that are truly close to me. The people that are closest to me are the people that have been there the longest. Through thick and thin good and bad they have been there. The people closest to me have all proven that they are trustworthy, they love me, and will tell me in a second if I am wrong or if they are proud of me. These people don’t judge me or put me down. They are the ones I depend on and I trust them with my life. The people who are dearest to me are my mother, my brother, my fiancé, my best friend, and toe close friends. The effort I put forth in my relationships is more now than when I was younger. When you are young you really don’t appreciate the people who are real. I think younger people are naïve and trust more. It takes mistakes and heartache to find the people who will stick by you through a storm. So now that I am a little older I see who has stood by me. I try to do what I can for them. I try to show them the same things they have shown me. Most of all I try to let them know that I appreciate them and how much I love them. 2. There are certain characteristics that are attractive to me. For instance when I first meet people I think their overall appearance is what attracts me to them.
