Some people say that time makes you grow; some others argue that only experience counts; I think that situations make people grow. Sometimes, individuals won’t realize a wide variety of things unless they find themselves under a specific situation. I have been under many different situations, all of them, which have made me grow and develop as an individual. When I was seven years old, my parents got divorced, and it wasn’t the easiest thing to overcome since the divorce was due to physical abuse to my mother and me. After the divorce, I was a seven-year-old girl that tried to act like a woman, but it didn’t work, so I just had to “leave it behind” and carry on with my life, having to meet with the man I hated the most every other weekend.
