“Science without Religion is blind, Religion without Science is deaf” (Albert Einstein,
1999). Science without Religion is meaningless. ... ” Science tells us “How” we originated
through the Big Bang theory and Evolution, while Religion tells us “Why” we originated
through the beliefs of the Bible. Religion and Science co-exist and can both be used in
determining the beginning of our world and its people. Religion and Science both have
the same basis, which is truth and understanding. ... Difficult debates can be turned to show that Science and
Religion do, in fact, agree greatly, although they’re based on two completely different
assumptions. Science assumes the sterile infallibility of human reason and induction,
where as Religion assumes the equally sterile infallibility of a faith- organization/
tradition, including interpretation of ‘holy’ scriptures (Morris, H, 1993). Science is based
on observation. Religion on the other hand makes arguments analytical in nature and
requires some unquestioned faith.
