Immigration to America for years has been the reason why we have grown and change so much as a country. I do believe that it can either make or break us as individuals and in a country. Individuality and the love of ones country has given America the spark it needs to prosper into a country with a wide range of cultures. Immigration to the U.S. as far back as I can think is Ellis Island. There were many people trying their hardest to come to a nation that by chance gained a reputation to be the great land of opportunity. But is it really? Immigrants come to this nation to make a better living for themselves and their family, escape poverty and disease, to gain freedom and obtain education and most of all money. As I think about all of the reasons to why immigrants want to come to the U.S., I think of all the pit stops the U.S. has to make to accompany them and their needs.
