In reading and watching the movie Frankenstein, I was fascinated by the differences that they both had. ... But in my opinion the two parts in the movie that bothered me the most, were that the presence of the Delacy’s, and also of the Frankenstein’s servant Justine were no longer apart of the story. ... His job throughout the book was to at first introduce you to the story, and later show you in present time, the horror that Victor Frankenstein was faced with, with Walton eventually coming in view of the beast. ... In my opinion, the villagers replaced Captain Walton in the sense that they witnessed the death of Victor Frankenstein. ... The DeLacy family wasn’t replaced in the movie version of Frankenstein. ... Cutting this part of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein was not beneficial to the story. ... Justine was the Frankenstein’s servant, but more than that she was almost part of the family. ... After chasing Victor Frankenstein all the way up the windmill he is burnt to death by the townspeople, whom just by his appearance relate him to the death of the little girl. ... I think in the case of Frankenstein, both should are considered classics. ... I think that this will happen will most books that are put on film, maybe not to the extent that Frankenstein was but to a point at least.
