The Business Industry Political Action Committee is a group of industrial leaders that, “Identifies and supports pro-business candidates who have demonstrated the skill and leadership necessary to fuel a pro-business Congress.” Beginning as the nations first business political action committee, or PAC, the BIPAC was conceived on August 5th, 1963 to promote the election of officials that would encourage the growth of the economic sector. Since then, the BIPAC has grown by leaps and bounds, not only supporting the smaller nominations, but those that would go on to compete for very important positions as well. In each arriving decade the BIPAC would support the candidates they felt were most likely to seek out the largest margin of surplus possible, often by methods that were, “Ahead of the curve”. As a whole, the Business Industry Political Action Committee is a very large group of big business leaders making waves by whatever means necessary to keep the country afloat. While the Committee is delegated by upper level CEO’s and Presidents with their own motives, the aim of the BIPAC to negotiate the meeting of the necessities of the common man, frequently as the “grassroots” portion of the voting sphere.
