There are many things in society now days that show what the ideal body image is suppose to look like. Many people especially women try all they can do to obtain this ideal body image. ... I believe that this is very important and interesting hence the fact that most people believe that women view these body images from magazines, TV, and movies to be the ideal and perfect body shape. Yet what some people don’t know is that the only place women view the perfect body image, another even more sever place where women view and hear about the perfect body image is from their family. So how does body image impact the development of an eating disorder? In a journal article called, “The critical shapes of body image: The role of culture and family in the production of eating disorders, I found that the question they asked was very similar to what I was trying to figure out for my question on how body image impacts the development of an eating disorder. ... Making even a more shocker on how much body image in some girls lives were their whole life. ...
In conclusion I believe that both of these journal articles helped me figure out my question that I posed, which was, how does body image impact the development of an eating disorder.
