CONTRAST OF COMMUNISM AND DEMOCRACY
All countries need to have a stable and effective government in order to form a prosperous and peaceful society. Though many forms of government exist, two main types come to the forefront for a society to choose: communism and democracy. Communism and democracy vary from each other in many ways, but the most notable difference between communism and democracy is their views on peoples’ rights and the type of economy they have. Communism looks down upon the democratic free enterprise system, and at the same time, democracies look down upon the communists view that there should be no private property. ... The goal of communism is to prevent any one person or group from becoming drastically rich, while the rest of the population is extremely poor. Communism attempts to eradicate the poorer class by equally distributing the money and goods of the people to the to all the people.
